Factory subwoofer removal instructions please
Who knows where some of those topics hide... but I can explain it in a nutshell.
The subwoofer can be accessed after removing the rear seat. Start with the seat bottom, two bolts at the lower front edge by the fuse locations, then the upper seatback can be unbolted and removed. Not too difficult except for the size of those items. Easy access then. The seat belts have to be fished out and back in. There may be other details that I don't recall right now. But others will follow up. No doubt you'll have it figured out before then!

Richard has it pretty well "saucered and blowed" but I'll throw in a tidbit or two. the seatback has 4 fixing points and two are "hiders" I just don't remember which two. There is one on each side of the driveshaft tunnel, and one each outboard, near the door. Philips screws, IIRC. Once the fixings are undone, the seatback lifts off some hanging clips higher up. So you have to lift up, then pull out when free.
The rear shelf has a few "christmas tree" plastic fixings, I think. Foggy memory, but I don't think you have to remove the rear shelf, only lift its leading edge.
Best of luck.

Be careful of the felt material around the door opening as you not drag the bottom seat out the door . I was attentive of this but still damaged some . A folded towel to protect it may help as a cushion . The hat shelf can break as sunlight over the years can make it brittle . On reinstallation the top hookin point of the back seat panel can be tricky and may not get it right ( you can see the gap through the rear window ) and have to diassemble it after you think you've got it all done . If you are looking for a path to put extra wires through I put mine over the top in the corner ceiling plastic trim pieces . Mine did not come with the premium sound setup with the external amplifier and subwoofer so I designed a vacuum tube final amplifier for the top of the dash running the after crossover network back to the rear seat for the subwoofer through the ceiling trim . The 400 volt power source from a converted smartdrive washing machine motor has to come forward out of it's mounting spot in the trunk . M'Lady P is going to be the only Jaguar on the whole block to have a vacuum tube amplifier on the dash , if my retirement check ever gets straightened out . Took someone else with the same firm 14 months to get theirs .

This is on my list too.... I've had the speaker surround kit in a bag for at least a year, just need to take the sub out and put it together. Hopefully the cone isn't damaged too, but will cross that bridge when we get there.
