How to open the trunk(boot) lid manually
Hi All, I have a 1995 X300 VDP in which I had pulled the battery to do some electrical work (clock) and had placed a piece of board in the trunk(boot) to keep it from closing. Unfortunately someone dislodged my board and I can't get into the trunk. Is there a manual cable inside the cabin to open the lid.

As Bob says.
But if your key doesn't work (many are seized through lack of use), connect a battery with jump leads to one of the fuse box main power leads and a good ground point in the engine bay. That should do to power up the locks.

Hi again, yes the key doesn't work(it hasn't been used in years). I don't think I going to drill through the back trunk to unlatch, I will try to power-up the relay first.

You don't need to drill. If you can't power it up, remove the number plate, and you'll find a couple of body-colored tapes over the lower number plate holes. There are threads here with pics and instructions how you can unlatch the boot through one of those existing holes. Do a search, you'll find you're not the first member to fail to utilize your key on the boot once/mo or so.....
