Default In search of IDS DVD118.5 V.5

I am trying to reset the Fuel trim adaptations on my 1995 Jaguar XJR6 engine as per Technical Bulletin 18-53. My IDS DVD is numbered 118.5 and it does not have the fuel trim set-up as shown on attached document IDS DVD 118.5_V5 as found in another post on this forum. If any one has disc or even a copy of DVD 118.5_V5 for sale, I would like to purchase it. Please see my ad in the Member marketplace.

You will notice that the vehicle shown is a 1996 XJS with the AJ16.

You might try to enter your vehicle VIN as a 1996 XJ6 R SuperCharged. (not 1995)

Technically the 1996MY was the first required OBDII compliant model year.
Jaguar did make the 1995MY 'sorta' compliant but I had to use PDU on most of the 1995 Jaguars when I worked at the dealer.

Try SAJPX1149TC780764 as a 1996MY XJR and answer the questions on the screen as they come up for vehicle configuration data.

SAJPX1149TC780764 is an actual 1996MY XJR.

Hello Motorman, The picture shown above is from a different post of a different vehicle. What it does show is what I don't have is the reset fuel trim tab??? I tried your suggestion of a later Vin number and there is no change of the missing tab. Have you got a 97 XJR vin #? I even tried a earlier 95 XJR vin I found at junk yard to no avail.

Thank you Cafcpete, I can see where everybody is going at with the different vin#. maybe it will bring up a different file therefore maybe the tab for the resetting of the fuel trim. Which makes me wonder does any body have the last six of a Vin for a AJ16 XJS? I'll try anything once.

Thank you.

If and when you find the fuel trim reset tab, Don't do it unless you have a four gas analyzer working at your disposal. You will wish you hadn't like I do.

Thank you.
