The trunk lights stay on when the lid is closed, where is the switch located?

The trunk dome lights or trunk open indication ?

 

As I recall the switch for the boot light is in the latch itself.

While you're rooting around look for frayed/shorting wires at the trunk hinge.

Easiest thing to check is the cars right curved trunk hinge arm cover as the wires underneath lose their insulation

There are some switches on the top half and bottom half of the latch but can't remember which one relevant

Your trunk light switch / wire is getting a constant unwanted ground

The wire color is Red / Yellow
