Has anyone had any luck finding replacement shifter plates for the consol? Mine has several cracks in it and I would like to replace this but have had zero luck finding just the plate.

I did and all I can find is the entire assembly (LNC6195AC). I might have to go that way but was hoping someone might have found as source just for the top plate. Seems like this cracking is a common problem,

As for that shift plate,...we need to work on your terminology...cracked is one thing, yours is broke my friend.
Mine was scratched and I had to do a bit of hunting. Found one from someone parting out their wrecked X308 in the Marketplace, top task bar, 5th option from the left.

If you don't find one there, I still have my old one (if you don't mind the scratches by 3rd gear) if you want to make a reasonable offer, PM me. Don't forget to include shipping, it's 7"L x 5"W x 2"T, should fit in the USPS small flat rate Priority box and runs around $10.40 before tax.

 

Thanks for the info on the Forum and on this part. I searched the Marketplace and didn't see what I was looking for, but that's an awesome resource!

I'll reach back out if I can't find what I'm looking for as yours might be just what I need. Scratched is a lot better than "in pieces". We've got a great Jag mechanic here in Dallas (JagMac) that I am hoping can point me in the right direction or might already have something.

 

Be aware that the Normally Aspirated and SuperCharged Gear Selector Illumination Modules are different. (Gearboxes are different)

The faceplates will probably interchange but the modules WILL NOT.(they are 'listen only' nodes on the CAN bus)

The part number you have is correct but do not replace with NA version LJA6195BE BF or BG

You can use any LNC6195AA AB or AC from the XJR or XKR.

 

In case you need to know, mine is the LNC6195 AB.

 

Just my 2c Bryan, but that shattered faceplate almost guarantees that your problems won:t end there . . . I bet the 5 > 4 disk underneath will have broken and perhaps one or more of the RH side microswitches also. Suggest you review my write-up, with pics, of this 5HP24 J-Gate at <https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...earbox-246896/>

The top plate alone is marked as no longer available new, and available used J-Gates are unlikely to be parted out as anything other than complete assemblies, so the offer of a good used entire unit may be smart. My advice? Grab what you can while you can! Then used both units to carefully test all LEDs, globes, microswitches and solenoid to assemble the best fully working combination.
