I’ve just had some 19” alloys fitted to my 308. The ride height seems to be higher on the front to the back. I thought this may just be a case of the suspension having to settle after being jacked up at the wheel specialists but it has been two weeks now and there is no change.
My car is the Sport model and I’m wondering if there are any differences in the springs and resulting ride heights in the different models? I know the previous owner had the front springs changed and I’m wondering if these were for a standard model and not a Sport.
The comfort and sport springs are different (different p/n) and NA and SC are again different so there were four different springs (see the attached extract). The sport springs should be somewhat lower. Small corrections of the ride height can be achieved via the plastic packers at top and bottom of the springs by inserting either 1.5 mm or 4.5 mm thick ones.

Many thanks. It’s really starting to bug me so now I know how to sort it.
This is a 100. It does look slightly lowered. Looks perfect. That said, I had an xj sport before my 100. I would say the tire to fender gap is the same.
THIS!
Sort the donuts and the various bushes before anything else, and be sure the shocks are OK.
Ride height on a X308 is not only achieved by the springs, but also by the shocks.
Broken shocks (not necessarily visually leaking) drops the car 1 - 1 1/2 inch (speaking from experience).

Thanks for the heads-up but all four shocks were changed approx 18 months ago by previous owner as I have the receipts.
I found a table with the factory ride heights (measuring from wheel centre to arch lip) and found that my car is almost millimetre correct, only 3mm higher on the front!
It may be that the new wheels just make the small difference stand out more but its a case of 'once you notice something' for me so I think I may still look at lowering the front slightly.
