Default Fuel injection

Had one injector leaking so replaced the O-rings on all 8. Running fine, no codes. Before started with foot off gas pedal. Now needs very slight pressure on pedal to start. Listened with stethoscope and no sucking. Any ideas?

What is your idle and just off hand, have you cycled your emergency brake?

Cold start should be around 1000-1100, then idle down to 700-750

Highhorse - waiting on e-brake connection.

Starting getting "restricted performance" mode that comes and go. Codes for lean on both banks. Looks like extra air getting in back from the MAF. Reseated tube on throtte body and still reoccurs. I'll spend some more time listening for sucking leaks this weekend. Any other ideas?

Have you replaced your MAF?....make sure the pin connection is proper. Pins are known to push out. Make sure your air filter is clear, lots of Oak leaves that fly around this time of year.
Be sure to check the EGR tube gasket as well.

Do you have a scanner to view your STFT & LTFT?

Maybe clean the MAF first and check your air intake tube.

Default Easy fix

When I first bought the Jag, the accordian part of the air tube had multiple splits. Wrapped in high temp electrical tape. One of the splits reopened. Retaped and issue disappeared. No codes. Started right up with no throttle. Proper idle.

I know, how about fixing it right the first time and just replace the air intake tube?? You know they’re still available right?

I’m not going to tape up a leaky radiator hose or go cheap on something safety related like brakes, but if a dollar of tape fixes it, that’s my choice. The tape did not degrade or rip, but flexing on removal and install of the part opened it up. Maybe it’s because I remember repairing things like toasters with my dad instead of buying a new one.

I purchased one from my Jag dealer the first of the year for $57...and being it was shipped to them, then no shipping costs to me.
