Default No Central locking

Hi
The remote fob works everything except the door locks (lots of clicking noises). It sets and disables the alarms ok and opens the boot. The key only works the drivers door any opens and closes windows etc. The other doors have to be opened then locked manually.

Any ideas?

For your fob, you may want to review this... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...pgrade-210090/

For the locks, you can try a couple things...
...first...one is do a hard reset by removing the battery cables and touching them together to bleed of excess power. Let it sit a couple minutes and reapply. But you lose all your memory settings also.

My preferred way would be to remove the door card and disconnect the central controls in the front door (not sure if it stays with the drivers side, as shown N America version, for you right hand drivers) for a few minutes and reattach. If that doesn't work, I'd do the hard reset.

I've got everything but central locking (windows, mirrors, alarm, trunk) un-plugged/plugged back in the door module, did a hard reset but still no central locking (just the alarm sets) and when I go to unlock, nothing.

I switched out the driver side latch assy, too... still no central locking..

Have you scanned for any codes? You can try reviewing this, on pg 57,.. http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Trai...2002-20-02.pdf ...it details all the controls that run through the BPM. Its possible you have a bad SLCM.
