Overcharged Refrigerant?
Changed my Thernostat in the car not long ago after I noticed my AC took much longer to cool. The Thermostat was utterly broken, so it has been replaced. Checked the refrigerant level and it was in the middle of the yellow part of the guage, it slowly crept over to the red zone until it stopped halfway. Anyone have any ideas?
I've noticed my top right radiator fan doesn't work but my bottom left fan does. I've checked both 30 Amp fuses and they're fine. Now, I did notice when searching for this issue here that there is a relay near the bottom left wheel, above the splash guard. I did hit a tire one night, dudes tires in front blew, didn't have time to swerve, would that have jostled/tore it out?
I’d say you most likely found your issue for both your overheating and A/C issues then. With the engine off, spin the inoperable fan by hand. It should spin freely. Unplug it and look at the connector. If it looks burnt, likely the fan is dead and you’ll need to repair the connector. It’s very easy to remove the fan assembly and you can bench test each one. Also make sure the radiator is rigidly mounted in its proper holder. I’ve seen several X308’s come in with the radiator displaced and the fan wiring harness rubbed through by the drive belt because they hit something in the road.

Seconded to all others about diy ac recharge, they don't work well or for long.
When you remove your radiator fan assembly be super careful of the hard plastic line coming out of the upper corner, left side of the radiator. I didn't go through it myself (yet), but I hear the connector is fragile and if it snaps off you're looking at a whole new set of issues.

Oh it's fragile all right.....if you sort of lean on it while removing the fan assemble, it will break. I must have broken a dozen of those plastic hoses in the five cars I have owned. Now I disconnect that particular hose if I'm doing any real work on the car. Adding a little antifreeze is far cheaper/ easier than replacing the pipe.
