Purchasing Throttle Position Sensor
Does anyone know where to purchase Throttle Position sensor from? The dealerships said it's not sold separately. The only place I see it sold on is Amazon and it's not OEM. How did you guys go about purchasing a new TPS? Help. Thanks!

Ebay
Stay away from the unbranded ones as they tend to only have a single potentiometer. And right now there seems to be an abundance of entire replacement throttle bodies with the sensor for cheaper than I can find a solo Denso sensor .

Randy, I’m fairly sure Denso doesn’t make one for our cars as a replacement. Yes, I know they were the original makers of our TPS’s but, I guess they weren’t allowed (?) to make them for individual parts sale. Up until about 4-5 years ago, we couldn’t even get an aftermarket one. We were relegated to either buying a used TB or buying an entire new ($$$$$$$) TB from Jaguar. I bought an aftermarket TPS from eBay about 4-5 years ago for my own car as a spare (about $25) and I’ve installed it on a few customers cars to diagnose their original failing tps and the AM one performed great. I wish Denso made a direct replacement tps for our cars.
Yes, it is true….however, what I was trying to say was
that…given a choice, I would seek the Denso name even
if it was a used OEM part. The AM one probably works
fine, and it could be all that was available and a logical
choice when push comes to shove.

Just to add to this, there are two TPS & we can still only get one.
I was getting TPS error codes on mine & initially the sensor as pictured in this thread fixed it. But then it came back, but only when the cruise control was 'armed'. There's a second TPS at the throttle cable end of the throttle body so it seems, I had to get a second hand TB and fit that to fix my cars issues. Helpfully by changing a couple of external parts (inc a water feed on the back of the TB) you can fit a supercharged car with the TB off an NA one as the actual TB is the same size.

In my case I couldn't find anywhere to rebuild them & the second hand TB was about £60-70 so cheap enough to try.
I've still got the faulty one though, so I could get that rebuilt as a spare one day, anywhere you suggest for it?

I used this company. I purchased the rebuild service through eBay thou.

In addition, I used another company to bore/port ( don't quote me which team, the center diameter is unchanged) after the rebuilt.
I needed to do that because it is a part of a even bigger project and story- full Supercharger rebuild ,porting and powder coating.
