Default Restricted performance after trans

Just had my ZF trans replaced and now I get restricted performance.

Can't get a read on codes.

Any idea what it can be?

Everything seemed to be connected, did a hard reset.

Still restricted, engine running rough. Never did before.

TIA

Swapped O2 leads? What do you mean "can''t get a read on codes"?

What codes are you getting?

This RP is very baffling ..... When my car has had the issue it will sometimes run rough as if it is having a coil problem. But after immediately restarting and getting no RP the car will run normally.

My only thought is that RP must put many of the cars systems into a "base mode" where the only concern is to allow the car to be moved to a safe location regardless of what sensors failed.

In my case I think it is the TPS -- it causes a signal loss on the CAN ... and RP.

Since the transmission is also on the CAN -- maybe you have an electrical problem?

Couldn't get my elm 5 to connect, I'll go to autozone and see what's up.

Codes:

1. P 1722
2. P 1316
3. P 1000
4. P 0732
5. P 0175
6. P 0171
7. P 0308
8. P 0307
9. P 0300

I suspect that the O-2 sensors may be switched.
Checking it out now.

Trans was causing trouble before replacement, but engine always ran perfect at all times!!! Not no more.

P0171 and P0175 together point to the possibility of switched O2 sensors.

P1722 and P0732 suggest a remaining trans mechanical fault, UNLESS they were never cleared once the trans was repaired/replaced.

Cheers,

Cheers,
The trans fault codes were not cleared after replacement.

I looked at the O2 sensor plugs, unplugged them but not sure I switched them.

Had all unplugged at once.

I assume you have the JTIS schematic to ID the correct connections-

Upper right on diagram 4.1. page 54 of electrical guide, accessed through the wiring looking icon, then section 4 (electrical), at least in my version 1.3). The U wire refers to blue, the UY refers to blue with a yellow stripe- R is red and so on. Its a little complicated to describe the wiring for each, so its best you have a look at it.

Update:

Got the code reader going and cleared all the trouble codes.

Last night found a crack in the small flex hose to air intake, taped it with electrical tape.

Cleaned the TB, wasn't too dirty, and switched 2 of the O-2 sensor plugs.

RP is gone, car seems to be running fine, opened it up on the main road and had good pickup and speed.
