Should I get a used rear cushion seat or go to upholstery shop?
The leather on my rear cushion seat (not the back rest) is all ripped and damaged. When I bought the car I was told that it was not the original seat that came with the car. Although it's the same type of seat that came with the car originally I do believe it's a replacement because besides the rips the leather does look much older than the back and front seats. What would be the best/least expensive fix, a used replacement or have an upholstery shop repair it? Thanks for your input.

What colour/trim code is the interior ?
If it's one of the more common ones it may be easier to get a second hand one from a breakers yard. I have a feeling a trim shop would charge quite a bit for re-covering the seat (there is no other good way to repair it) and even then you may not get exactly the correct colour and feel

I would try to locate a good used one. The back seat is usually the least warn interior seating surface in the car. My 11+ year old 99's back seat is in perfect condition -- though not for sale. So as long as the interior has been protected from weather or moisture damage (and ice-cream spilling passengers), the back seat ought to be in good condition. The interior color code is on the label on the driver side door that also shows the paint code.

I'm looking for $200.00 Total. Here's the breakdown:
Assume box dims of 64 X 24 X18 and a weight of 34 lbs. Shipped from terminal zip 48377. Delivered to a house address.
Fed EX Ground $117.00
UPS Ground $161.00
FED EX Ground always beats UPS on anything we ship for my wife's business.
I'll need to build a box, clean it up, pack it, and take it to the terminal. I'm looking for $50.00 for the part and $30 for my time.

Your part price is awesome! If I were in need of a rear seat (I'm not), I'd be on that, even with the shipping costs. And it shows up at my doorstep.
