After looking at our VCATS (Vehicle Configuration And Test System) List in the trunk, I wanted to learn more about it.

In the following 2 JPEG files are a sample VCATS listing showing:

the abbeviations for the control modules listed along its control module (part name).

Also a photo showing the VCATS location in the trunk (boot).





The VCATS Listing gives the Control Module abbeviation, then its part number, then its program revision number (suffix - ie /008) in the following example:

SLM LNG2600HB/008 --- SLM is Security Locking Module, LNG2600HB is the part number, /008 is the program revision number.

Among the paperwork with my car, is an A4 sheet of paper that I assume is the build sheet. It has 12 barcodes ...

VIN PREFIX
VETS
CHASSIS NUMBER
PECUS
VIN
WHEEL ALLIGNMENT SETTING
HEADLAMP SETTING
ROLLING ROAD FACILITY
VIN STAMPING FACILITY
and 2 barcodes for VCATS
If it is not the build sheet, anybody got any ideas as to what it is ?
