I've just managed to track down a WDS unit after many failed ebay auctions. The one I've got has Ford B44 software installed and obviously I'm looking to convert this to a Jaguar unit.
Are there any kind members of this group who can help me out with the software? I'm willing to trade / cover costs / exchange beer tokens, etc...
My car is a 2000MY X308 with a great long list of electrical issues waiting to be fixed.

It would be very nice if u can help us.

The car has the undeletable failure code P1775(tcm has exhaust fault) and P1409 (egr fault)
I can get a engineer session for wds if we having a running wds. I hopefully want to delete the egr in the pcm because he don't have one. And after that the tcm is running without faults. Our ids don't get deep enough (that tells jaguar Germany).

Please help us.... Or we have one XJR on the street less

The P1775 is just the TCM telling the ECM to turn the check engine light ON.
WDS will read the data for the TCM (it should have the GM 4L80E gearbox).
The P1409 is EGR fault as you stated.

Do you have a WDS? Software without the devise is completely useless.

 

No i have not purchased one yet. Im looking for info on what to purchase and what to download.
