After spending $3000 in 15 months to keep it going, I sold my XJ40. I was at a point where I could still by a new car with the $$$ left in my "car account" or all if it could be spent with one more big repair for the XJ40. The XJ40 was a fun ride though. Thanks to everyone who helped out on diagnosing the problems it had.

good choice, the mazda 3 is a nice reliable car that is still pretty fun when pushed hard enough. TC

 

I love my Jag but I wish it would go zoom-zoom, right now it kind of goes Zzzzzz-Zzzzzz.

The Jag was the ultimate cruising car but I don't miss having to get it fixed every four weeks. The Mazda 3 is fun.

 

Nice to know you are now sure to return from your trips away.

 

Just wait till you have to fix the mazda once.
