Now it's a bigger problem, i've got no idea how to make it well running, there's two thinks pushing the air spring and fuel spring, have anyone have it it in car and could sens me a photo with meters this two thinks? I need to know the distance beetwen the rotor and the think what pushing the springs one od the air spring and one from the fuel spring.
Nobody in Poland want to help me :/
I send a photo what i'm looking for
Thanks Jag Lovers!
it would have been easier to istall an ON-OFF switch for the AED which itself is an electric choke.
Those of us with AED and carbs with older models like the 420 and S type of the 1960s install a ON-OFF switch under the dash to turn off the darned thing.
Another part you need to check is the OTTER SWITCH located before the thermostat. The OTTER SWITCH is usually what makes the AED malfunction.
I am not familiar with installing a manual cable choke but there are firms in the UK who understand how to do it in a Jaguar.
also you can try asking in the MK1 / MK2 / S type forum as the system is similar to the old Jaguar saloons.
I've got older AED system, it's work with the hot air pipe from the exhaust, there's no otter switch.
The bimetal in AED died so i order from england this conversion to manual choke, i have installed it already in my car but now i need to know the distance beetwen this two thinks on the top on the manual converter, beetwen the think that pushing the springs from air and fuel. I'm looking for somehody who have it in his car worked fine so he can show me the distance have to regulated it.

I suspect he's working on this Euro type of enrichment device. They all fail.
I'm guessing the 2 screws he has shown are the cut-in and cut-out adjustments.
Didn't the conversion kit come with instructions?
