Default G7 Ground location

Can anyone tell me where the G7 grounding site is located and how to access it.

- G7 "Center Support Right Side (behind instrument panel)"

Do they mean the trip computer ? What instrument panel are they referring to?

If this is like an XJS from this aspect of the car's construction, then this refers to the body/dash support struts, which carry a whole bunch of earths (grounds) and they are only accessible by removing the dash. See photo:

I'm sure Greg is correct; you should see similar vertical supports on your Series III.

If you remove the console "cheeks panels" you should be able to see the supports and, hopefully, the grounds

Cheers

Thanks guys -- Cheek panels easy, Dash -- a bit more involved.
Interestingly the manual for XJS uses a slightly different description: it read " Center Support Right side (Behind AC).
