1985 XJSC V12 Advice sought.
Quick Google, and I mean quick, and the prices are more than I expected, even for used ones. How much has changed in 10 years, damn.
Typing that EAC4191 into ?bay Aust, and $250 inc shipping from the UK, not bad I suppose. Slightly less from USA. My stainless ones back a long time ago were $250, so maybe not so bad.
Where is your rotted??. Most common area is the underside of the tube, between the fill spot and the suction outlet for the water pump.
Any "old school" radiator repair outfit can repair that. I know this, as I have had the odd fuel tank bottom replaced by one over here, and that is waaaay harder than that pipe would be.
I am trying to contact a guy in Qld, Landrover nutter, but he was talking to me of making this pipe in stainless a few years back for one of his V12 Jags, , pre Covid nonsense time frame. When he answers his phone, or emails I will come back with a +ve or a -ve.
Where on our island are you?/ I know people that know people in most places.
Making the crossover tube in copper probably easier.
I think somebody on Jag-lovers forum did that.
When I put an HE V12 engine in my coupe I rebulit the engine to use an external electric pump.
The crossover tube was dead simple, just made it out of copper tube and regular plumbing fittings.
I did have a S/S header tank made by the old guy on the Gold coast, and that was fitted higher than the engine up where a LHD car would have its brake master cylinder.
So I did not need that elaborate filler and purge setup in the OEM crossover pipe. To date no problems.

As promised.
Russell rang, and is going no further, with the fabricating of this pipe arrangement.
He sourced a couple for his own needs from the UK.
The other one was repaired superbly by an older school radiator repair shop, as I suggested could be done.

Excellent thank you for that. I will yry to reproduce the pipe on copper my only concern is erosion due to having dissimilar metals in a fluid stream but in any event I'm sure it would outlast me.
Well,that killed the appetite.

I'm in Bundabrg. I spent a lot of time looking on ebay and found nothing so I really would like the lnk if you found a pipe.
I have two pipes, both rotted out at the large hose connector along with the smaller connectors. I wouldn't trust the pipe if it were patched up though.
Thanks for your time and effort with this.
OK, worse than any I have seen, so coolant spec prior to your ownership has been a tad slack.
This is the home page of ?bay I just did for EAC4191.
OK, nothing in OZ that I have seen, life continues,
Nothing in NZ either, so North is all we have.
A good S/H, with proper coolant care, will outlast any of us.
