1996 xjs minor projects
To all,
Now that I have my cat running excellent I just have a couple of minor things to pick at……GIVES ME SOMETHING TO DO!!
then I might put it up for sale? Had offer last year of $14.5K….after seeing what goes for more money I decided not to sell.
CAT IS UNBELIEVABLE FOR 114K miles. PURRRRRRRRRFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!
MINOR ISSUES
1. Air conditioning works great as I rebuilt the system several years ago..NO LEAKS COLD AS ALL GET OUT!!!
BUT…. For some reason when I switch the fan Mtr. Speed to 1 or 2 it doesn’t seem to blow as hard through the eye height duct on the dash. When I switch to 3 high it BLOWS GREAT THROUGH THE SAME EYE HEIGHT DUCT. It sounds like on speeds 1 and 2 the right side blower motor is not on but on 3 it is???
LOOSE WIRE ?? HOW DIFFICULT TO CHECK OUT RIGHT SIDE MOTOR WIRING?
2. Driver side lumbar support is not filling up. Repaired this about 8 years ago….time for another look see!!!!
MAYBE HOSE CRACKED AGAIN??
MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE AIR CONDITIONING DUCT MOTOR.
Any insight is appreciated

This thread should get you pointed in the right direction for the AC Blower mystery.
As for the the lumbar, I had the same issue, but I did not need to return to the chair. What is your problem? My air pump works, but the bladder either has a leak or a failed one way valve because the air gets pushed out of the bladder. I'll fix it if I ever have a need to get back in there.
