Greg, those look awesome. A bit pricey but what isn't these days.
Your post got me to poking around on the internet some more. I found Summit Racing

There are a zillion options. So maybe a 5/16" x 1/2 plug with "o" ring tapped into the hole would work?
Not sure if this is a viable route. Appreciate comments.

That does look much easier than it was sounding and I see exactly what you mean with not having to take the manifolds off. Maybe I won't need to wait until next winter to do this.
I've never "tapped" anything so am not exactly sure what is needed or involved. Once you had the screws thru the holes did you grind off the threads to make ends smooth to fit into the air rail hole?

Tapping the threads isn't difficult. If not sure, just google it. I used 5/16" - 18. I just rounded off the bottom half of the threads with a dremel to fit the manifold hole.

Just installed a new V-belt for the AC compressor. I could not find the Bando so I picked up Durolast 17440 at Autozone. I unbolted the compressor, tilted it forward, slid on the belt, bolted the compressor back down, and the tension is perfect! Job took about 10 minutes. Loosing the pump (and auxiliary crap) really cleaned up the engine.
Anyone know what engine codes will be generated by pump removal, how to stop them etc. ?
