Default Amplifier Installed - Highly Recommended

I drive a 1996 XJS Convertible.

I just installed an Alpine KTP-445U. What a fantastic upgrade to the aftermarket head unit I have.

With the top down, I needed more volume on my radio. I was getting a lot of distortion on some of my music when speeding along the highways.

I came across this Alpine amplifier, which connects directly from the radio harness. No special power feeds, or grounds required, just splice into the harness wires and that's all there is to it!

Instead of maxing my radio to 50 on the highways, I can't even get to 30 now!

If you've been interested in an amplifier, but don't want to deal with the hassle, this might be the one for you. Like all the other accessories I've installed, this easily fits in the passengers side kickpanel, just under the passengers airbag. You know, where a glove compartment SHOULD have been placed?

That's what I got along with my new Alpine HU. It's great!!. And I fitted it in the same place, although I got some speaker wire and with my solder gun a shrink wrap extended the length of the harness so it could sit away from the ABS relay
