Those prices will not be met in the US. I don't know what the XJS is bringing across the pond.

America has always been the cheapest place to buy an XJS, because of the sheer number that we sent over there. It's just a shame that the steering wheel is on the wrong side! It's also why many of the best cars for sale in Germany are imports from the US.

Here in the UK, prices are definitely strengthening now as people see the XJS as the bargain 80s & 90s performance car. The very aggressive inflation in prices of many classic cars, especially Ferrari & Porsche is now starting to pull up the prices of all corners of the market. See this dealer here for a range of UK XJS asking prices:

Dreaming? I'd call this day dreaming!
The sad part is that if someone does not know that these cars are so under priced they might think that $25,000 is a bargain and purchase the car.

Too bad you couldn't buy them here and sell them there. We would be rich.

Over the top even for Australian prices. One or two may be in the ball park though.

I wish that those were XJS prices in the American market...although I'm seeing on eBay more and more XJS' in the mid to high teens for no specific reason. I think we're heading in the right direction...

Cheers,

I love Houston! Home of the cheap exotics.

ehh just look at the site you are on. CL and ebay aren't as bad, but go on Hemmings and you are going to see ridiculous prices.

Go look at barrett jackson and you will think an MGB is worth 40k. The thing is most of these higher end sites have higher end cars. Noone is going to use that site to sell their $2500 junker XJS
