Default Fosseway Performance Calipers

I know there has been some talk on this forum regarding the upgraded Fosseway Performance Braking kit. My 93 was in desperate need of a brake overhaul. The rear calipers where seized, so I figured why not install the Fosseway kit upfront? I can report that kit does WONDERS for the car's braking performance. The brakes are way more progressive and offer substantially more power over stock, now a light touch of the pedal provides enough bite to bring the car to a stop. Certainly, some this can be attributed to the working rear calipers, but I was able to drive the car with working rear's and stock front calipers/rotors/lines and the Fosseway brakes are night and day over stock. If anyone is looking to substantially upgrade their brakes, I suggest the Fosseway kit.

Definitely not, they came in around 1800 US for the full kit. Insane, I know, but they are six-piston aluminum machined calipers.

I have long lusted after such an upgrade. As well as which you take several kilograms off the unsprung weight.
How easy were they to fit, please?

They need to be shimmed for fitment, and the entire system needs to be bleed. If you are comfortable working on your XJS, you should have no problem.

i use WILWOOD aluminm calipers, with EBC sloted/ plated rotors, around 1/2 the price of yours!
big weight saving compared to factory cast iron calipers!
if money was no object i'd probably use BREMBO stuff!
