Default Fr Fog light bulb

Does anyone know who carries the 55w front fog light bulb for a 91xjs ? I combed the archives with little luck. I notice the two bulb prongs are connected to a medal thing. I'm guessing this is part of the bulb & can't be separated . Thanks

Does anyone know why the face lift cars did not come with fog lights?

OK, found replacements bulbs. Look up Phillips # 12311 55w 12v H2. Those #'s are on the medal tab that's part of the bulb. Cost anywhere $9 to $30 on web sites. I didn't check the usual local part stores yet.
You aren't missing much not having them. I haven't used or had the covers of them in 20 years

Oh, interesting that you say that. Do yo feel they are not that effective? Are they specially shaped lens that only fit somewhere in the bumper?

With the stock headlights being as bad as they are anything would be effective or help light up the road. I just never took the covers off or used them. IMO their a "purist" thing. Realistically I think replacing the original headlights with something with today's technology is the way to go.
No, the fog lights on preface lift cars hang mounted below the bumper.

My fog lights hang down under the bumper, the right side is burnt out.
Looks like just a rectangular fog light that you buy from auto parts store, I will have to check into that.
My Jaguar fog light covers are in the trunk and still look new.
Think I will take the cover in and find a fog light that will fit in it.

I heard that front fogs were a standard fit on the V12 in some markets and an option on the 6.
The fog lights were Hella. Sometimes on ebay.

Those prices are asinine. I paid $30.00 for a pair of new covers.
