Default Part number for door closed switch contact plate?

My facelift XJS 6.0 is missing the little metal plate that the door switch presses against on one side. Does anyone know what part number this is, or what I can search for to find a replacement? I can't see it called out as a separate part on any diagrams of the door trim.

Riot,

As motorcarman has indicated, it's identified on the Jaguar parts website, which should always be our first port of call to identify part numbers:

Xjs Sports Coupe/convertible 1975 - 1996 Classic / Door Trim | Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts

Good luck

Paul

Thank you both for your helpful answers! Shame it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. I might have to try to fabricate something.

Too bad you are in the UK.
I have several that I can give away.
Do you have a shipping account?
Send me a prepaid email shipping label.

Thanks, that's a very kind offer. But I suspect shipping costs will be disproportionate for such a small part, and I don't have an account with any US courier.

If you're able to get a reasonable quote, I can send you money with paypal for the shipping and some extra to cover the packaging and inconvenience, just let me know how much it's likely to be. It'll probably end up being easier to just make a replacement!

I will need destination information to get a quote.
Last time I tried an international shipment it was $40.
That was for a larger item, so let's try.
Doesn't cost anything to get a quote.

roman_mg,

It's just the little trim plate on the door card that the OP is looking for, rather than the switch plate itself.
