Default Replacing Intake Manifold Gasket-What else??

I have an AJ16 engine. What else should be replaced while the intake manifold gasket is getting replaced? Is there anything else that requires the manifold to come off to be replaced while it out?

Thanks!

Replace the short slightly S Shaped by hose underneath the manifold with the best quality one you can find.

Vee,

I would change the water rail pipe as it's a pain to get to otherwise and it's block connection does leak. Also, just because it's easier at the time, also check the heater valve and it's inlet and outlet hoses. I'm just about to replace my heater valve (which only leaks when it's turned off).

Good luck

Paul
