Default Trans Fluid Question

Looking to change the fluid in my '93 4.0 ZF4hp24e.
I would like to go with synthetic but have no idea what is currently in there.
Are there any issues mixing regular and synthetic fluids?
Anything else I should look out for?

Nevermind . . .
Found this on the Valvoline site:

Is it OK to mix synthetic ATF with a conventional and/or synthetic blend ATF?

Yes. Synthetic ATF and conventional fluids are 100 percent compatible with each other.
