Trip computer light bulbs facelift
I've been over every post I could find, which is how I was able to extract the bulbs from the trip computer. But now I'm stumped. I removed this "fixture" that the bulb appears to be soldered into.
When I found the part number for the bulb I found "LHD5180AA" which goes to a bulb that looks nothing like what I have removed.

And before anyone asks, no LED's please I despise them. I just want to replace the original bulbs.

The bulbs are integral with the base. It's called a neo wedge bulb and come in different sizes that start with T, such as T3, T4 etc.
I'm sure an internet search will turn up a chart of sizes and you can compare to your existing bulb. They are fairly common in the auto industry for switch and dash lighting.

I have a post about installing LEDs and then inserting a “Saffron” light gel (from a theatrical lighting store) to return the color to its stock Aqua color.
I hated the way the incandescents bake the trip computer. When driving at night, hold your finger on the screen for 10 seconds, I doubt you’ll be able to do it. It gets hot!
The shift selector light also runs hot enough to melt plastic. (Open that assembly up and you’ll see some melted plastic). I changed that out to LED and added the same gel filter to correct the color.

Got a pack of these for the clock:

They are listed as 12mm which is exactly what mine measured.

The LEDs eliminate the heat in the display. https://www.superbrightleds.com/more.../Photos&Videos
Fixed. Eliminating the heat will undoubtedly prolong the life of these ancient computers.
