Default Truck (boot) lid Badges

'92 XJS. I have two Badges on my boot lid. One side "JAGUAR" other side "XJS V12". Both were chrome coated now the chroming is fading and not looking good. I want to remove them and cruise undercover. Question: how are they attached? Only sticky or do they have **** in holes in the lid?

I started with that idea, but when the wife wasn't looking I used a plastic pancake flipper. Worked great. Thanks for the idea.

my XJS came from Kent UK around 1986, no badges on boot, except a die cast Union Jack on right side!

held on by two SS screws.
