Default V12 6.0 idling high

Hello. New member here from Sweden!
I have probolem with 6.0L V12. When cold engine is idling about 1600rpm. After around 5 minutes itīs normal and about 750rpm. Is it possible to adjust the idle when engine is cold?

Sounds like a failed Extra Air Valve to me. The large screw/bolt on it is used to adjust the warm idle, the cold idle is controlled by the valve.

Cheers,

I have replaced the valve with a new one but it doesnīt help. Well car runs perfect when hot so maybe I should be satisfied!

The issue you discribe is the cold engine boost from the Auxiliary
Air Valve. It sounds like it is working just as it is meant to.

If you do not want it I could use it! Mine is stuck and I idle 2000 RPM and it does not come down ever.

After reading your post again it looks like you might have 2 that work,
what would you want for one of them?

Does the V12 has idle control valve to control the idling?
