Default Winter Plans for XJS

Yep, already thinking winter, or more like what I plan on doing for my 84 XJS. Chang out the Fuel injector rail, hoses and Injectors (have a spare ready to go in) Checck wires under hood and repair/re-wrap . Make up a new fuel injector wire harness and get it out of "The V".

I also would like to upgrade the ICM to a crane cam with recommended coil. I realize the 84s have 2 coils, if I upgrade to the XR700 or one of the other Fireball sytem, do I have to retain the 2 two coil system

Do you have pre he or he ignition? Assuming its he, I would use the factory coil pick up and just run an msd 6a ignition box

Covered hibernation for six months. Change oil 15/50 mobile synthetic with a storage conditioner in gas. It sure makes it so easy to start come spring. Three plates of mothballs on engine to discourage any mouse from building a nest, it seems to work.
