Default Winter Project Cam Covers Oil Leaks

Winter Project Cam Covers Oil Leaks.... I am thinking this will be an excellent winter project.
I am a little worried about getting it running again after this.
From a tuning point of view is there anything I should be scared about?

I would like to build a list of part to order before I start...I know this has been done many times so I do very much appreciate your input.

So here is my list so far...what else?

2 x Cam cover gaskets - Gortex gaskets Part Numbers EBC 9627 & EBC 9628.
Radiator hoses
Spark plugs... they are not that old.
Clean injectors
Injector hoses.. mine look new but have hose clamps on them... I would like to remove these but they might have to be used.
Oil temp sender
Oil Pressure sensor

All everyone else has mentioned,,,

And be careful about dropping stuff into the top of the engine once the intake is off. Especially if you plan on having the intakes off for an extended period of time. Lots of little bits and bobs floating around.

All the oil sender stuff is easy-er to get to.

One cool thing, once everything is off,,, the covers for the manifolds are right there, two bolts each side, and them ol things can be cleaned up and resprayed any color ya like - as long as it's high temp engine paint.

The intake, fuel rail, the skinny Y-ish vac pipe, cross/balance pipe can be removed in one large chunk, brought to a good place for working, disassembled and worked on on the side as well.

The engine bay is a LOT different and accessable without the intake and all that is attached to and surrounding it.

Duke,

I'm in the same position as you, and I have a new injection harness as a priority item on my list of parts to buy.

Also trying to work out which items need to be blasted, plated, painted etc

Cheers

Paul

I recommend ordering the aluminum half-moon seals sooner rather than later. When I ordered a set last year it took a few months to make it through customs.
