Yes I found it here:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...e-%245-184627/

My plan is to check the voltage at the junction box. 12 V at the junction box and 10.4 V at the motor means there is a higher than normal resistance on the ground line, going to the module (AKA bad module).

So many possibilities:
A. Toast crumbs from breakfast, as you obviously did this on the kitchen table?
B. Remains of the mouse that had crawled in there before you fired it up?
C. Dust from the motor brushes?

I will guess (seriously) that it's grindings from the heater housing.

If you saw the rotor you might have guessed otherwise.

Its carbon build up from an exhaust leak I noticed a few weeks ago.Visually confirmed it the other day. I thought the smell was from my catch-can tubing, but its actually exhaust leaking from where the CAT and header flanges meet. That's a lot for only a few weeks of leak, huh?

Do they make air filters that would catch exhaust??

Another issue to fix smh....

Anyway i'm still looking at the module as the failure here. Since the motor has been refurbished.

I wish it was any 3 of those lol

That would be a pretty lame kitchen table and some burnt toast. Neither are my style.

Wow. Ok, hope you are now driving with the windows open until that is fixed, no need to tox yourself with CO.

Yeah tell me about it. Turns out the flange nuts on both sides were loose. Like ... unscrewed with my fingers loose. Guess I didn't tighten them enough when I changed the CATs. Tightened them up and no more exhaust leak. Exhaust note sounds normal now too. Glad it was just that.

As for the blower, I traced it back to the module and replaced a fuse per the other thread.

Default Replacing 2009 XKR HVAC blower motor

Replacing 2009 XKR HVAC blower motor.

Guys, I saw some pretty high $$ values kicked around for a new motor C2P8256. Partsgeek.com has them for 42 - 48 USD new with free shipping! Best of luck, Lloyd
