Must be aftermarket or bought one from the S Type and retrofit it on. Not my style for the XK/XKR but I know aftermarket tuner Arden has that option:

I think it looks ridiculous! I have a 98 XJ and it fits THAT car great. However it looks plain stupid on the XK & XF and borderline stupid on the new XJ!

We have installed several leapers on the new model XK since 2007 at my shop, only after pleading with the customer not to do it!. They look terrible the S Type angle is all wrong, looks like a little cat p*nis sticking up from the hood.

I am also a leaper fan but it doesn't look right on XK models

Once upon a time I believe you could add it to the XF while building a car on jaguarusa.com. Maybe that was just a nightmare I had though....

I think adding the leaper to an XK or XKR qualifies as vandalism.

I know of a 2009 XKR Portfolio that had a Leaper added by the dealer. I agree it doesn't fit but this was an older lady's car that had raced Jags in her earlier years and that's how she "by god" wanted it. I was pleased since she was in the same class with my 2007 XKR and I beat her in the Concours d' Elegance last year because of the deduction for the Leaper. It's not stock and it will cost points. Hope she still has it on this year

Default Oh No! Not Again!

Resurrecting an old thread here, as apparently the message never got out, "DON'T DEFACE YOUR CAR!!".
This morning I went to take a look at an XKR-S GT (in another thread), and found that the dealer has 2 locations on the same street, about a block apart, and naturally I went to the wrong one first. Anyway, as I was leaving the wrong location, I saw they had a 4.2L XKR coupe and a 5.0L XK convertible on the lot, saw I walked over to take a closer look.
When I walked around front of the XK, I saw this:

Did some searches in this forum, and the topic has come up several times, and in fact I thought it might have been SoCal Babe's car (see pictures in post #1 of this thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...w-pics-117633/), but her's was an XKR and this is an XK.
Hmmm... maybe this XK is a XKR-S GT wanna be?

Is you had it hooked up to a beer tap, that might make it worthwhile, but it would probably throw the weight distribution off a tad.

Leepers on modern Jag's don't look good. XJ350 was last acceptable model for it IMO.

Now that's the option the factory forgot! The weight distribution would correct itself while the tap is open.
