Default Anyone using a quickjack on their XK?

I was reading up on the quickjack . Seems like a good fit for me. Anyone using one with their XK?

That is very cool, but seems pricey for a 21" lift distance. The compact and portable feature is attractive, if I was a track guy this would be perfect to take to the track garage. For home use I would just use my floorjack and stands. Not sure how high I get that way but the extra couple of inches isn't worth that much money.

If it was to use in all the time at home you can get a full lift for that cost! Obviously would be permanent install and would need space...

Would love to have a 4-post'r, to be able to park underneath, like some lucky devils on this forum, but I don't have enough overhead clearance for that (friggin' steel beam to support the living space above the garage).
And, as you said, the 2-post'r requires permanent mounting space, which again, I don't have.
So this lift looks very attractive from my perspective, although it too requires storage space when not in use.

I researched the heck out of the smaller lifts including this one. The sales manager has an XK and he sent me picks of it on the lift.

Ultimately I decided the lift height wasn't enough and I wanted to be able to use it on my family cars as well. As I do all my own repairs, I need to be able to work comfortably under the car(s). If you're working underneath, the low lift height won't afford you much leverage. Wheel and brake work, etc. would be fine.

Additionally, the set up each time takes awhile. Most of us can jack and stand a car faster. Lastly, there's the storage issue. I don't have side space in my garage to store it.

I opted to shell out $2k for the Kernel MR6k-38.

A wee bit of a PIA to drive over and park on as I no longer have a 3rd stall, but the lift is fantastic for my needs.

I also found a vendor who worked with me to find a local shipper who would pick it up, once it was drop shipped to MPLS, and unload it in my garage.

Back to the quick jack, there are a few videos on youtube that give good reviews, just not a good fit for me. If the set up per use and storage isn't an issue for you, it works for your other cars (if you want it to) and you don't do more than oil change, diff fluid change under her...IMO yes it's a viable option.

I have a 10ft ceiling in my garage and can easily park a car beneath the lift with another stored on top. My Chrysler 300 is usually on the bottom and its a big car. Also comes in very handy for maintenance work.
