Getting things together for a little front suspension work, I was curious what a quick pass on the buffing wheel would do to the upper control arms I’ll be using. (thanks again Mike for the donation)
I completely understand the urge to do something to the Jag just because you can. Last week I put a matching burl overlay on my 2007 Jaguar cupholders. Being retired does leave time on our hands.
Those say they’re for an XJ. Are you sure they’re the right ones?
From everything I have read, yes.
I haven't had an opportunity to install as yet, so can't say for certain...but once again, have read multiple places that they are the ones.

@wymjym, I shoulda responded sooner, but got busy.
If you've already gotten the parts and done the job, then ignore this post. If you haven't, read on...
My car is an '09 Portfolio convertible. I found that the mount part number for the ragtop is different than the coupe. Not sure why, seems weird that it would be that way, but I wasn't about to try anything that wasn't spec'd out. The isolator part number is C2D16903. The mount is C2P23038. If you're sure the eBay ones are correct, then $49 is an unbelievable price for the set. I got the isolators from Harper Jag for $104.20 each and the mounts from Jaguar of LA for $70.10 each, which adds up to a whopping $348.60 for the entire set. You may have found the best deal ever - if they're the right ones.
I posted a how-to on this job, too, but since you have all that stuff and the A-arms disassembled already, that might not be as helpful, but here's the link, anyway:
Looks aren’t everything when it comes to evaluating some components. I wanted to replace my original upper control arms due to 125K miles of usage and the fact that the ball joints had been exposed to the elements for many years.
While working in that area I thought the ‘used’ (65K mile) xkr struts could use new mounting cushions.
So here are the pretty parts
Here are the ones I removed
After my fellow Jag enthusiast and I finished up we were both tired and happy that this project was done.
The results: I can barely feel any changes what so ever. The ugly 125K ball joints didn’t display much play at all. The original shock cushions were ever so slightly compressed more that the new ones we installed.
The job is completed and I’ll rest up before getting into replacing the front seat leather.

And yes, these shock cushions are a proper fit for the xk-xkr. $46.00 usd for both, shipped (pre tariff) is a far cry from oem pricing!
