Default Finding the Audio amplifier 2007 XK Convertible

Has anyone removed the amplifier on their car and where is it ?
In the boot (Trunk). I have two units next to the battery the CD machine for the Sat Nav and another unit below it , but I don't think that's the amp .Doing a bit of reading is the Audio amp under the passenger seat (Right hand drive car in UK)
If it is it's seat out and carpet up , can this be right ?
If you have done it can you let me know please.

Close. Under the passenger’s feet, toward the firewall (premium and B&W systems, think the standard system has the amp integrated into the head unit).

Workshop manual describes the yank and replace procedure.

Yes and yes. Pull the seat, remove the passenger side leather on the center console, remove the carpet bucket. Amp sits on the up slope of the passenger footwell.

@Cliffords only if you have the premium option, otherwise it's in the head unit as stated above.

Thanks yes I do have Premium, I have now worked out .
I will have a look at this delightful job over the next couple of weeks. My only concern is passenger side is different for me here in UK than most on this post in the US. Did Jaguar make the amplifier in the passenger side when they made right and left drive cars . The Jaguar manual shows it in passenger side with a picture of a right hand drive car , but then spoils my confidence when it mentions replacing the carpet and ensuring the pedals are not restricted.

@Cliffords the amp is on the passengers side, no matter where you are in the world. Removing all to access takes about 30 minutes if you're new to the job. It's fairly easy.
