Help! Battery dead, can't open the trunk!
Sorry About that, followed a link from a web search and didn't enter the forum properly. The under the hood method did work, I left the boost pack on it for an hour or so and was actually able to start the car. Thanks for the info though!
Sort of like this???
I don't know if the video link will work, can't find video-only....

I had the same thing happen to me. Have a 2005 XKR. If I don't drive the car often, the electronics within 2-3 weeks drain the battery. I couldn't open the trunk with the key through the R so I looked for the positive lead on the driver's side under a rubber cap. Bam! There is was. Hooked up the positive and negative to the frame and I hope it works. It should. Thank you.
Under the driver's side rear fender, about 1ft behind the rear tire-well, there is a positive terminal covered with a rubber cap. I found it without jacking up the car, hooked on a battery charger, negative cable clamped on the frame, charged for about a minute and that was enough juice to pop the trunk! Simple and easy to find once you know where to look.
thanks a lot !
