Nav Disc??
Sorry I have a 2009 xkr convertible. Yes it's in the trunk I'm trying to load the DVD. If I don't lock it after inserting the DVD it just kicks it out and trys to reload it again and again
If your original disc is not loading either, then you've got an issue with the DVD drive, with some luck it will need a clean, further than that there's not anything else DIY to try, apart from a hard reset (disconnect battery and let it sit for a bit).
I just received my set of Volvo nav disks and there is no D disk, only A and B. The A disk is the update, and the B disk is the entire USA. Previously, there were separate disks for East and West.
Installation was easy, as described above in this thread. Remove the old Jaguar disk, insert the new Volvo A disk and wait about 15 minutes for it to load, remove the A disk, insert the B disk, leave it in and close it back up and you're done. My setup screen shows both UK English and English, as well as other languges. I haven't taken my car out for a drive yet, so I can't say how it works.

Yeah, Nosferatu lives in Bulgaria, so he is probably interested in Disk D from the European Market.

I'm confused now about which disc i should have in. Some guys on this thread seem to have different discs inserted but live in the same areas. I'm in Chicago and disc A seems to work for me. I have not had the car out on the road yet though. Any toughts?
That is one of the sucky things about this nav system, and may be more so where you live. As you go farther West/East you'll need a different disc installed, though both discs may have your home state in them.
A few weeks ago we took a trip West traveling through AR, we then wanted to go to Branson, MO......had to put the other disc in order to find the address there. The good news for us is that we live far enough in the East disc area that we generally don't have to do the disc swap very often.

OK now you guys have me confused. If I go out of my zone all I do is bring up the zone map (shows the US map ) and select the zone I will be traveling in. I don't need to insert a different disc so help me to understand what you guys are doing.
Not trying to make it difficult. If your destination was already in the nav memory from a previous out of zone address the nav remembers that. However, if you attempt a new, never before entered, address out of the current disc's coverage you'll have to change to the disc to navigate to it.
When I traveled to Branson MO, it was a new address in a zone that was not on my current disc. Eventhough I had previously traveled to addresses close to that location I had to change the disc to enter a new address in Branson.

I came across this while looking for nav update for my 2012 XK $99

That 2013-2014 disk IS the newest one from Jaguar. That's why people (me included) stick a Volvo disk in. Compatible system, and now all my maps are updated to 2016 at least. Next year I may buy the 2018 disks.
