Default OBD reader from Icarsoft: LRII or newest updated LR 2.0

Hi all

Is anyone here using the newer version of icarsoft LR readers (LR II or v2.0)? If yes, which one and does it also help to find error codes from AFS (swivel headlights)?

Would you recommend such an icarsoft reader for the XK?

I have an LRII. It's about as powerful as an Atari 2600 and almost a clunky to use. I'm pretty sure it'll go into all of the sub modules (can check today if I remember) but it's an extremely basic system in a nice looking box.

Ter, I didn't get out to the car today. Spent it instead fighting concrete...

The LR II feels and looks like Super Mario Party on a Nintendo 64. Honestly once it powered up I felt disappointed.

Hopefully tomorrow will give me more me time.

I have the LRII and am happy with it, thankfully I haven't had to use it much!:-)

Someone on here bought a OBD dongle which could do pretty much what the Icarsoft can but was alot cheaper. Tried to find the threat where it was mentioned but can't find it.

Take your pick:

Bluetooth OBD2 on Amazon

The one I got cost me $6 and came with the Full versions of Torque Pro and Dash Command.

That one can only read engine codes.

I played with mine this morning while the car was warming up and it will query the control module but not the lamps themselves The control module. data stream function shows bus bit codes and the percentage of suspension compression off the ride height sensors. I think it did show lamp faults when my wiring failed inside the lamp (loss of position input).

Does it check the tire monitor system? Can it reset or recalibrate after repairs/replacements have been done? thanks
