As the thread title states, I have ended a great episode of car ownership with the XK. I purchased an F Type S and have begun a new chapter. Said another way, I'm not totally gone, I've simply moved next door.

On a personal note, my wife kids me about not be emotional. Well, yesterday I dispelled that myth while watching the XX in the rear view mirror of the F Type as I exited the dealership.

In one sense, the F Type is quite different however, the Jaguar smell, look and feel remain. This, in and of itself, makes the transition a bit easier to manage.

If it's okay with you, I would like to "drop-in" from time to time...

I kinda' got a hunch you'll be back here on the XK/XKR side with your new to you one in a year or two.
