XKR owner 1 x week a d it started pinging up warnings on Pedestrian collision warning ..got the codes checked and it threw up 9 codes...checked the battery and machine said unstable battery 😬 1 x new Bosch 4c battery later all is well...😃 I believe it was the original battery from December 2007. Now off to pull fuse 19...learning slowly the cars potential mainly through this forum...thanks

Installed LED lighting in the garage above the Jag's hood. Popped the hood and saw all the dust and grit on the underside of the hood and in the engine bay, so I cleaned that up a good bit. Have snow here this weekend, and I am in the 'keep it parked inside in snowy weather' camp so inside work on the car.

Default Many updates done

Many projects done. H&R spring lowering kit, new Hankook tires, Mina light surrounds, new wheel center caps, full exterior/interior detail. Time for a drive in the sunshine.

Bought 4 new Sentas then sent them out for PVD chrome. Got them mounted and road-force balanced. Car is 10x smoother on the highway now (compared to the $400 wheels I bought used on eBay that were bent and welded).

Congrats on smoothing out your ride. Sentas are my favorite wheels.

2013 XKR-S

Inspired by the above, I added a similar logo to my 2009 XKR. It matches the small //R logo in the steering wheel.

I finally replaced the TPMS Receiver, as that's the last component that I haven't changed in my system. Now to drive it 10-30 miles, but it's cold out there, barely 45f. Maybe next week...

Update; I just drove those 25 miles, the last ten miles with TPMS SYSTEM FAULT on the dash.
If I swore in this forum, you'd see a shitload of profanities right now.
EVERY SINGLE PART has been changed out with new. All the wires chased good.
*sigh*
Time to Disable TPMS, I guess.

Noooh! You're not a quitter! Don't give up! If you can integrate the backup cam into your touchscreen display, you can fix it! See the links to the Workshop Manuals in the Sticky at the top of this Forum's Home Page.

Just remember ... "When the going gets tough ... "

I'm clueless with SDD. But there must be some diagnostic advice in the Workshop Manual to help you troubleshoot and fix it.

Maybe a Tech on this Forum can point you in the right direction. Of course, aa last resort, you can always pay the dealer to fix it.
