My 2007 XK (its actually a xk60) bolt pattern measures at 5.25 (5x108) (if im measuring correctly). The aftermarket wheels ive had on my car and work amazing say PCD 120 right on them (5x120). Since Ive had my car many people said yes yours is 5x108.. but most websites tell me my 2007 is 5x120 (5x4.75).... im soooo confused!!

How have I been using these wheels just fine? I have been looking for new wheels to buy and there isnt crap out there for 5x108 but if I can get buy with another set of 5x120 that opens the doors to almost everything.

I measured the hub from end of bolt to center of bolt accross (since its an ODD number pattern) and its 4.25 (5x108)
I measured the rims pattern the same way and its 4.75 (5x120)

The rims work great and I was talking to Dan Henderson who is also on this site and maybe its possible they drilled the holes out slightly larger on the rims? From viewing them it doesnt look like they were drilled out but maybe they did an excellent job. I would assume by drilling the holes out it makes the hole bigger to make the rim fit and then my lug centric lugs tighten the rim up snug and centered.

So.... I am going to take a shot at ordering new wheels, actually going to get a 5x114 pattern which is even closer and going to see what happens. Worst case scenario I get adapters or drill the new rims out.

 

Our entire series XK from '07 to end of production are 5x108.
No exceptions that I have ever heard of.....

 

Unless you have spacers/adapters on you should have 5-108. Make a templet and fit it on the hub. Just use some cardboard and see before you order new wheels and then have to return them.

 

From what I've read, the XK60 (which was a 2008 only production vehicle, not 07) had stock 20" Senta wheels. 5X108 is the bolt pattern as everyone has stated.

 

I'm pretty sure the 5 lugs go center of one bolt to the side of the other. The reason is you want the bolt circle, not distance between the lugs which is the bolt circle on 4, 6 and 8 lug wheels. Five lug wheels are a PITA to measure.



RIF, reread the OP and I think your rims measure larger is due to Jaguar using the shank style lug nuts. If the rim lug nut bore isn't oblong it must match the axle. If you really question it, take it to a wheel shop that has the plastic gauges and let them double checkit.

 

Btw, there are a lot of manufactures that make blank wheels, and you order them cut to your offset and bolt pattern.

 

Well I got it all confirmed. My bolt pattern is 5x108 just as I measured. My wheels are 5x120 that were slightly drill out to fit the 5x108. With wobble nuts they fit nice and snug and never had any issues. Thanks for all the help and advice/suggestions.

Im going for the widebody liberty walk look, love it or hate it that dont matter to me, its my car so Im doing what I think looks cool to me. I ordered custom fit 1" adapters that make my bolt pattern from 5x108 to 5x5. I got new wheels and tires coming from customwheeloffsets. 12" -44 offset in the rear and 10" -22 offset in the front. The wheels will stick out about 4" inches front and back. The fenders will get hacked up (about 2 inches off) and then the widebody bolt on fender flares get installed. Airbagit is done with my custom air strut suspension setup and will be shipping that out soon. The custom digital camo wrap is on its way too. I will make a new thread posting all the progress. I know this look isnt for everyone but its what I like. I am doing all the work myself for the most part and will be showing the progress on youtube as well.

Thanks! I kinda made my last post sound a little more negative than i wanted it to be. But yes I will for sure do what makes me happy and glad to share it with the world regardless of people liking or disliking it. Hopefully many of you will like the work when its done.

 

Hard to dial back once the cutting is in process. I'd be tempted to buy a flood car and swap everything into it versus whack a nice body.

Either way, should be a crazy looking beast when finished. Hopefully you don't regret it once done.

Back in my 308 Ferrari days I've seen folks do various body mods . Some looked cool and others not so great but the comments by the community varied. Some didn't like the cutting of the original lines of the car while others liked the new aggressive stance. That being said it will be interesting to see what is done , how it's done and what the final product looks like. Having done an areo kit on my XJS I don't object to others doing mods. The only down side with cutting metal is you either need to keep the car for ever or find some one with similar tastes. By the way here is one of the more famous kits put on the 308's in their day.

The 308 is beautiful, that was a dream car for me back in the day.. well still is! lol . Its been the hardest decision ive ever had to make car related to cut my fenders but to get the look I want it has to be done. Im a 3d artist and have actually been designing and 3d printing a mini widebody kit on a 1/24th scale XKRS model to make sure I like the look before attempting this large project. Its been six months of planning and figuring out every detail.

 

IId like to see the 1/24 scale xkr to get a sneak preview! :-)
