Thanks again for your response. Cable is nice & tight. Although camshaft position sensor has been replaced, I am getting a P0340 code which is camshaft position sensor. Is it possible that new sensor is faulty? Engine idles & runs smooth. But, begins to cut out at 3000 RPM. Will faulty sensor limit RPM?

Perhaps a little more history.
Did you have any issues prior to replacing the tensioners, etc.?
Did you replace the sensors as part of tracking down this issue?
P0340 can be a faulty sensor, but I'd also check the wiring & connectors feeding it for open/short circuit. Try swapping back the original CPS to see if that helps.
If the electronics can't see the cam position I wouldn't expect it to run fully 'on song'
The second time the code is thrown the Check Engine light should appear. I believe (others will chime in here if I'm wrong) that the engine RPM is limited in this event.

I did have lack of performance issues. Did some research & cleaned throttle body & MAF. Then checked for codes. Got ABS, Tract control, & coil codes. Sent ABS module out for repair & replaced coils & plugs. Then got Cam & Crank position sensor codes. Replaced both. After these repairs vehicle started & ran smoothly until hit 3000 RPM. Checked for codes again & got Knock sensor codes. Researched Knock sensor issues & found that plastic chain tensioners could trigger Knock sensors. Replaced chains, tensioners & guides as well as water pump & plastic thermostat housing. Also replaced Knock sensors. Will replace fuel filter. Many thanks to all for your help. Will keep you posted. Thanks again!
