The car is a 2001 XKR. I have an airbag light and code 2290. That code is not listed under the JTIS codes (at least it is not on the list on my computer).

Any ideas what this is and how to diagnose/fix?

Motorcarman, I know you've mentioned the 'large file area' on several posts
I've poked around but it's not obvious where the link is.

I don't really know where specific files are located. I was asked by a moderator if I would be willing to upload the files to a site for others to use.

When I offered to upload the files several years ago I contacted the moderator and sent him some of the files in batches. After a few sessions, I was asked how many I had. I told him that I had thousands of documents so I was given a password to upload the files DIRECTLY to the site.

Where and how they are divided between the model areas, I have no idea.

I never need to look for them as I already have all of them on my computer (several computers actually).

I know they are 'out there' because people post them on the forums to answer questions all the time.

Other people that have access to documents also post these to the 'large file area' along with the ones I posted.

The ones I posted are from the 1980s to about 2005.

The forum has a MediaFire account where a large number of tech files are stored and available for download by members. Links to the MediaFire account are in Forum Download Area. As a backup, I also have a full copy of the MediaFire fileset on my PC.




I'm aware the Download Area needs indexing but the folder structure will give you an idea of the range of topics available.
