You can them at a pretty good price thru Amazon or WalMart.<br />these cars are so particular about battery voltage that I think it's a prudent step to ALWAYS have a battery tender + connected when the car is not being driven overnight or longer. Battery life will be enhanced as well, especially if the battery is the AGM type.<br /><br />http://products.batterytender.com/Dion/Battery-TenderR-Plus.html<img src="https://i.imgur.com/SsjqPDs.jpg"/><br /><br />Z
The best charger around is the CTEK. I have had lots of chargers over the years but this has to be one of the best. I will look it up for you ............. brb
The one below is the one I have. However there are some CTEK a third of the price but it does the basic functions very well. You can simply put the battery on charge and forget about it.

I have CTEK battery maintainers on both my motorcycle and my XK8. Both have AGM batteries and I have had no battery-related problems with either. I have "built-in" both by attaching the CTEK supplied cables with disconnects directly to each battery and simply unplug the charger, disconnect the quick-release disconnects, insert the rubber plug and away I go.
Many Thanks for all you advice and help with the charger, I have just purchased a CTEK from Amazon and fitted it. straight forward and easy to operate.
Cheers All & Happy New Year.

I had a CTEK 3600 whose mode switch became erratic after a couple of years. I replaced it with an MXS 5.0 and have had no problems with that model for the past 5 years. Great product, and CTEK is the OEM supplier to the prestige manufacturers (Aston, Ferrari, etc) who supply maintainers (at a vast markup).
This brings a question; although I know my Die Hard (Manufactured by Schumacher) Charger/Maintainer does not recommend against charging with the car leads hooked up, the manual of the charger just says not to START the car with the charger hooked up.
With our finicky electrical system/ECU tests, has anyone thought if it's good/bad/indifferent to charge with the leads still on the vehicle?

I have the battery connected all the time my Battery Tender + is charging. I can't imagine a battery tender getting much use if you had to disconnect the battery leads before using.
