Hi, I have a 'new' '02 XK8 convertible that I'm trying to get road worthy. I think the belly pan is missing from under the nose of the car. I've seen the attached image available but I'm not sure if it's the correct part or not. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a belly pan and attachment hardware please?

TropicCat,
haThe Jaguar XK8/R has what is called an "Undertray" under the Front to cover the Oil Cooler and Parts of the Engine. The early X-100 have a small one that extents across the rear of the Grill with (2) Little Covers that fit in front of the Front Wheels....Jaguar changed them for the 2005 - 2006 and they fit pretty much under the entire Front-end....Those do not have the Front Wheel covers. Basically, all they do is prevent rocks and things from flying up and hitting the Oil Cooler and Front portion of the Engine......Almost every time a Mechanic works on the X-100, they have to remove the "Under-Tray"! Therefore, most of them don't get replaced......They are hard to keep up with but after you buy the first replacement at over $400.00!!! You learn to look each time you have a repair.........I still have my 2nd One!!! If you buy one try to find it in the Junk Yard! Mine cost me......$430.00 plus shipping.....
Mine is still attached to the car, but it's in 3 pieces now. I have been reluctant to buy a new one because of the price. I have considered making one out of fiberglass, but that seems like it's going to be a project for another year.
I'm surprised that neither the opening in front of the radiator nor the opening below the serpentine belt are not covered by a pan. I expected these areas both to be covered over. The good news is that I don't have to buy a pan.
