yes, the JAGcd-HF unit is wonderful. I use it more for music than telephone but I am very happy with telephone too.

I think the Pandora feed to this unit sounds much better than my stock CD changer.
If you do purchase it, I've got some install tips for you.

FWIW, there is a big yellow multi-plug connector under the arm rest that has all you need for a Bluetooth phone setup (power, mute, sound, etc.). For music, you will need some form of input into the existing stereo (there is no aux-in), so either a _WIRED_ FM transmitter, some form of feed into the CD changer sound lines, or even some form of hack wiring into the cassette deck.
Also, on an '06, double check there is no Bluetooth already, especially on the VE. It was an expensive option, so few have it, but I believe it is not immediately obvious to see if it is installed or not. Check this:

That's most unusual. I had the European equivalent of the Victory Edition - the 4.2-S Final Series and it had BT as standard.

I have a 2006 non-VE coupé. It has bluetooth. When It got it, I had an iPhone 5c, which I paired by following the tutorial posted on these forums. Worked like a charm. Unlike my '06 Land Rover LR3, it paired automatically after that initial procedure. When I switched to a new Samsung S8, no more bluetooth connection in my Jag, even though my Rover recognized it automatically. I thought I was out of luck in the Jag with a too-modern phone.
This thread, however, prompted me to revisit the issue. I dug out the pairing instructions I'd printed earlier and followed them to pair my S8. Works like a charm. Before I tried that, I looked on Jaguar's website about phone compatibility and the S8 was not listed but I thought I'd try anyway. Glad I did. Thanks to the amazing people of these excellent fora, I'm back in business. Thank you!

I have an '06 VE. Seems to have Blue Tooth(microphone, speaker on the o'head console). When I try to pair my Samsung 10, I get 'No phone' msg, and when I hold the button, sig "SIG____", but it will not accept a ##1# signal. My F type has accepted the Samsung 10 with no problem. Anyone with any good ideas????

Possibly still paired with a PO's phone?
When the ignition is switched ON, the BT system looks for the last paired phone and if it does not find it, the system shows No BT Phone message. To pair a different phone you have 2 minutes in which to enter sequence ##3#*# to put the system into Discover Me mode.

The overhead consol has a microphone, and a speaker, so I believe the car to be blue tooth enabled. Ideas??
