Default Coolant leak at 3 way connector-Norma connection of octopusus

Hello, my new arrival (XK8 4.2 Convertible) has a coolant leak at the 3 way connector and the norma clip of the octopus hose.

I have a new 3 way connector from my X308 XJR and its the same part number for the XK. Is there an additional O-Ring, when I manage to loosen the norma clip? I would like to try to stop the leak with the new 3 way connector and possibly a rubber O-Ring.

Thx in advance, Bernd from Cologne

And this is my "new" XK8 after a 650 Kilometer trip last Saturday (my XK was imported in 2018 from California, now 86000mls on the clock):

If the fitting disintegrates you can probably use a brass tee.

Short update: the norma-connector fitting broke immediately after "touching" when trying to loosen from the T-piece. As described here I cut the norma connector from the octopus hose and used a brass T piece, new clamps and a short piece of a new coolant hose and connected all hoses. So far no leaks, all dry. Thx a lot!

Hello, I have exactly the same issue. I bought a new 3way plastic tube but I am unable to remove the norma connector side from the old one. I am almost ready to cut it away ... @earny could you d'escrime which T brass you used ? Thanks in advance.. Chris from Toulouse.

Have a read of this thread of Shoreguy's. It may help you getting the tee and the octopus apart:

Hi, as you are from France you should also be able to find these - I took a 16-10-16mm T brass. 19-10-10 will probably also fit.
