Default Engine Stalls at stops but NO DTCs. HELP!!!

My xk8's idle drops to 500rpm & stalls at every traffic light but the only dtc is P0332(knock sensor) I know this isnt the reason because I've had bad knock sensors sense I bought the damn thing.I drove on them for a while with no issues.Of course they were changed after some time but I know they won't cause the condition that I'm experiencing. I had a P0335 but I pulled the CKP & cleaned it.No more P0335 dtc.
Now I get an engine fault on the display but only when I put it in gear. But I don't get a check engine or any DTC's. I feel like its a timing issue but is it The dreaded cam tensioners? &how much should I expect to pay for an R&R?

If the cam tensioners were at bad you would have a rattle on startup, although a shoe could lose the plastic cover with no indication of a problem. Have you tried cleaning the throttle body?
The tensioners really should be upgraded, don't wait for what could be a disaster without warning. Search the threads for instructions on DIY, it is not a difficult job.

Yes ive cleaned the TB. Ive done everything to this car but everytime I get a prob resolved another one is born. I do plan to diy the tensioners but was wanting to see if I could afford to pay for a day off from Konshu's Jag repair being that I own 2 &its similar to having newborn twins.

Update: drove the car 30mi highway to work, was on cruise control but it turned itself off & became unavailable as the engine fault warning flashed & went away. It hesitated a few times while driving at highway speeds but still no check engine light no dtcs.drove smooth, idle was ok but can tell it still wanted to shut off.

I've been waiting to hear the update on this, but nothing new... Did you find out anything? I have a few questions if not... There are only a few things, in my experience that will not throw a code but stall the motor... Fuel pressure is the primary... How much gas do you have in the tank? If less than 1/2, does this stalling happen with an almost full tank? It sounds a lot like lack of fuel or more specifically fuel pressure... Either the relay is starting to develop a bad spot or the pump is failing... Just my thoughts...

Good luck!! Let us know what you find out please... Thanks!!

Cheers!!!

Update: changed out my ckp (p0335) car started right up & ran. Did the 30mi drive to work. Started rough but ended like a new car. Only concern is that it still says engine fault as long as the car is in gear but nothing while in Park. And still no DTCs.
